Head of Communications
High Wycombe
(This is a part-time role 4 days a week, with a salary 44,000)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen, for a Head of Communications, based in High Wycombe, who will develop and build the charity s brand and profile, advising on and implementing strategies to preserve the integrity of the brand and better position and communicated the work of the charity with internal and external stakeholders.

Working for a charity, who offer grant funding, and support families of those in the military, you will lead and provide strategic direction. You will have the opportunity to build a new team and have the following responsibilities;

o media relations;
o special events and fundraising
o fundraising;
o technology and social media;
o crisis communications;

Lead and direct the compilation, writing, editing, design, production and distribution of printed, audio-visual and digital marketing and communications materials.
Devising and coordinating the implementation of communication and marketing strategies and campaigns.
Lead the strategic development and management of the Fund s intellectual property and imaging.
Act as one of the public spokespersons for the Fund.

In order to apply for this role you will have knowledge & experience of:

Experienced marketing or communications professional.
Experience of communications and marketing project management experience to include website development and management.
Communications, marketing or fundraising experience in the Not-for-Profit sector.
Detailed understanding of data protection, GDPR and other legislative or best practices within charitable marketing and fundraising.
Confident line manager with experience of leading a team and/or function and a track record of motivating teams.
Evidence of social media development or management.
Evidence of brand development experience.

You will need to have a Driving license and car for this role and there is travel involved in the position.
