Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a lovely charity based in Kent in their search for a Head of Community & Events Fundraising in order to implement and drive a successful fundraising strategy.

Salary: 45,000 - 50,000+ 3,500 car allowance

Contract type: Permanent, hybrid working

Deadline : ASAP

Community and Events plays an important role in the charity s fundraising strategy to build the organisation unrestricted income stream in line with the charity s strategic growth plan.
The charity are looking for a confident, proactive team player to take responsibility for the planning and ongoing development of our existing programmes and new initiatives. Increasing unrestricted income is a strategic priority for the charity raising the income year on year until we are annually raising 2million per annum.

You will be expected to hit the ground running and will have a significant focus on developing new initiatives and converting charity s new supporters into regular givers and lifetime supporters.

You will ideally have:

Experience working within a senior events role
Proven ability to provide inspirational leadership, management and direction to develop the capabilities of diverse teams.
Ability to interact at all levels and across all sectors with the gravitas and authority to influence and negotiate.
Engaging and inspiring communications skills both written and verbal.
Confident, flexible, adaptable and a practical, can do attitude.
Highly strategic with the ability to analyse, interpret and use data to plan for the future.
Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and financial issues related to fundraising.
Excellent written and numerical skills particularly in relation to fundraising budgets.
Experience of using Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and CRM database systems.
A quick learner with the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Experience of contributing to the creation of innovative fundraising events.
