Head of Development and Programmes

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a youth organisation who support young people to with practical skills and training to help them start and grow their own business. They are seeking a Head of Development and Programmes to prospect and develop partnerships to co-create and manage an exciting portfolio of international programmes with a range of donors.

As the Head of Development and Programmes you will lead the implementation of the partnership strategy which includes the development of new offerings and programme development. You will also ensure the quality and consistency of programme development and programme implementation across their portfolio and that of their direct reports. The role will be 75% partnership development and 25% programme management. This role will also oversee line management of people and creating a high performing programme implementation team.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Extensive experience in a comparable role with demonstrable evidence of achievement, including experience of successfully building and managing partnerships and programmes

  • Credible leader with experience of managing high performing teams, able to use different models and styles of line management and coaching as required

  • Experience of securing funding around the £1-2 million mark from potential partners either from corporate partners or institutional partners

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
