Harris Hill are recruiting for a Head of Finance for this well-established Charity based in Dorset

You will work closely with the Director of Finance managing a team of 3 finance staff to provide high quality financial support to managers and departments so that budgets are operated effectively.

Ensure effective management of the Charity's finance function and associated activities and to provide robust financial management information for decision making. Propose and implement financial process improvement and efficiency through reduction of waste and maximising technological advances.

Provide an accurate and timely financial service including setting and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, cash flow analysis, management and financial accounts and advice and support to inform decision making at all levels.

Develop and maintain a full asset register with a strategy that ensures protection of Charity assets and Employees which meet statutory requirements.

Manage year-end production of statutory accounts and support documents for both internal and external audits, in accordance with Charities Act alongside the Director of Finance.
Administer arrangements in respect of Gift Aid consistent with statutory requirements, ensuring prompt banking of all funds received and undertake timely reconciliation of all bank accounts.
