Harris Hill are recruiting for a Head of Finance on a 9 month fixed Term Contract for this international development charity based in London.

This position is a hands-on role which offers Senior Management exposure, working alongside the CEO and the Head of Programmes and very closely with the Treasurer on the Board of Trustees.

Key Responsibilities

To create and implement a financial reporting system that satisfies both internal and external stakeholders ready for the new financial year on January 1st;

Take overall responsibility for the development and successful delivery of the Finance function and providing successful leadership across the organisation;

Lead the annual budget setting process, working with budget holders to produce detailed budget analysis for the Senior Management Team, the Finance Risk and Governance Committee and Board of Trustees;

Be responsible for the development and evolution of a small team.

The successful candidate must be a professionally qualified accountant with a driven and proactive approach and robust technical skills from the international development sector
