I am delighted to be worrking with a wonderful well-known charity, searching for their next Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships.

This leading, national organisation provides support and services to enhance the lives of people who are blind and partially sighted, including breeding and training guide and companion dogs. Their ambition is to have a future where every person with sight loss has the confidence and support, they need to live their lives to the full. The charity also provides emotional & practical support to families of children with a vision impairment. They help people with sight loss from the day they're born.

They are looking for a Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to join the team on a permanent basis.

Location: 1 day in the Reading head office and 1 day in the London office

Salary: £54,502 - £61,769 per annum plus benefits

Contract: Permanent

The Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by developing and delivering a strategic focus and plan for the Philanthropy and Partnerships team. Ensuring that they are developed and mutually beneficial and that income from these streams grows in line with the Fundraising Plan. The role collaborates with Trustees, Directors and Heads of to maximise impact at the charity.

This role will inspire and drive the team to exceed income targets, through innovation and drive. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record in the winning and account management of significant corporate or high-level donors as well as experience of working as part of a restricted or strategic funding unity within a charity. It would be beneficial to have a successful track record of managing a major appeal or campaign as well as experience of managing sponsorship and licensing programmes preferably in a major charity.
