This is a rare and very exciting opportunity to join one of the largest and well-respected charities in the UK. Macmillan is currently looking for an experienced Head of Philanthropy & Supporter Events to join them on a permanent basis.

Macmillan have ambitious plan to transform their Philanthropy Programme over the coming years and are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, and ambitious individual to lead them on that journey. You will need to be a visionary and tenacious leader, who can inspire a fundraising function of 20.

To be considered for this position you will have demonstrable experience of Major Donor Fundraising, having made 6-7 figure financial asks, and have held budget responsibility of 10m+ in a public or private context. In addition, you will have experience of long-term strategy development and significant experience of leading a function including remote management of teams.
