Head of Strategic Communications and Engagement (Internal)

Job description

A wonderful opportunity for an Internal Communications specialist who will work closely with leadership to help employees feel informed and engaged, working for one of the biggest charities in London!

An amazing, important cause, and they need someone equally amazing to help in this critical communications role. You will be a strategic thinker and strong storyteller, you'll apply intelligence, insight and influence to lead a team in the development and delivery of compelling internal campaigns and events to support the delivery of the charity’s corporate strategy and change programmes.

The role:

Working closely with the People and Strategy and Performance directorates, the role leads a team to support the engagement of employees with the organisations objectives and strategic direction as well as helping to deliver and embed complex change programmes across the business

Previous experience:

- Demonstrable track record of leading a large and innovative engagement and internal communications function

- Strong relationship building skills needed to influence people at all levels of the organisation

- A track record of managing complex change communications

- Experienced in advising senior leadership on sensitive issues

Based in London, this is a 12 month FTC

Salary: £70-80,000
