HR Business Partner

Job description

A charity based in South West London are looking for a HR Business Partner. This position is part of the Services Division reporting to the Head of HR & Facilities This is an Officer level role where you will be expected to provide a full and complete HR service and be the first point of contact for nominated nation office. Key responsibilities

Ensure all recruitment literature is compliant with relevant legislation and in line with organisational corporate literature and brand
Lead on recruitment activities by providing support and guidance to hiring manager in line with Ramblers recruitment processes and practices
Responsible for all on boarding processes including HR inductions and coordination of group inductions for new staff
To ensure probation extensions are properly communicated and support and guidance provided to managers
To ensure fair and consistent outcomes, ensuring administration is legally compliant, complete and accurate.
Responsible for data capture for all learning and development activities
To generate specific reports as requested by the Payroll/Finance team in relation to untaken annual leave and TOIL


Person specification

Understanding and application of Employment, Equalities, Health & Safety, GDPR legislation as it relates to the employee life cycle
Ability to interpret new employment legislation and implementing policies and procedures within the frame work of the organisation
Previous experience of managing an employee relations caseload
Previous experience of managing organisational change
Previous experience of working with designing and delivering training sessions and materials
Previous experience of dealing with conflicting priorities and maintaining a first rate HR service
Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
