HR Manager

Job description

Harris Hill are currently working with a great charity based in Manchester to help secure a HR Manager on a 10 month FTC, paying 37,452 per annum.
The purpose of the role is to manage and deliver high quality, effective operational HR services and professional advice across a wide variety of employment contexts and legal frameworks.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
Work closely with senior managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching, support and HR advice
Analyse and report on trends and metrics in the HR function to anticipate challenges and develop solutions
Develop and monitor HR policies and procedures that are in accordance with employment legislation
Develop and update employment contracts and handbooks to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and current policy
Effectively plan, develop and implement strategic HR projects and initiatives in support of staff, programmes and business objectives

The key skills and experiences include:
Demonstrable track record of managing and delivering HR services
Strong working knowledge of employment law and the ability to interpret and apply legislation to organisational policy
The ability to communicate and influence with clarity and credibility on paper and face-to-face
Project management management skills, and the ability to develop and deliver new initiatives that add value
Charity sector experience would be an advantage
