ICT Training and Support Officer

Job description

A hospice based in central London are currently looking for an ICT Training and Supporter Officer. The hospice is seeking an energetic and charismatic individual to champion the use of IT; to improve the organisation's IT skills; provide operational support; assist with the data/application analysis required in future projects; and to become the applications expert especially the CRM, Access thankQ.
Key responsibility
Provide day-to-day application support (primarily MS Office; thankQ; Zoom; Intranet; JotForm)
Become the Hospice UK CRM expert/champion;
Provide IT and data protection training and documentation for end-users;
Increase awareness and confidence across the organisation of business applications;
Assist with business analysis work, using Excel and T-SQL;
Identify, investigate and escalate system issues;
Undertake User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for any changes and enhancements;
Hold regular end-user meetings to discuss processes, support and training;
Provide support to the Head of Business Systems and ICT in day-to-day provision and development of solutions.
To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job
Person specification
Experience of providing application and database support, including reports. Experience of providing CRM training.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel pivot tables.
Experience of analysing data to investigate problems,and/or to facilitate system development.
Understanding the importance, and having knowledge of data protection principles.
Understanding the importance of business systems, and their use within organisations.
