An opportunity has arisen for a major donor officer based in London with a national homeless charity. The role is to assist in the development and implementation of a major donor programme to meet income targets.

Key responsibilities will include:
-Help the major donor team to deliver the charity's major donor fundraising plan, with focus on sustaining and growing the programme.
-Researching, delivering, and planning major donor focussed marketing and communications working with the High Value Donor Development Officer.
-Plan and coordinate the planning and delivery of mid-sized to small donor events.

In order to apply for this position, you should have the following skills and experience:
-Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising or customer-service focussed environment.
-Excellent writing skills ideally of creating detailed and well written proposals, reports and briefs.
-A good understanding of the Major Donor fundraising market and trends, and fundraising legislation.
-Strong organisational, multi-tasking and administrative skills
-Ability to build strong relationships.
