We are working on behalf of a charity based in West Yorkshire we are looking to recruit an interim Year End Accountant for a period of four to six months.

This role will play an integral part of the team, working directly alongside the Finance Manager, providing first class support during a critical time in the financial year. As the interim Year End Accountant, it will be your responsibility to:

- Assist with the year-end process, taking ownership of preparing the statutory accounts and preparing audit deliverables.
- To act as the main point of contact for the auditors, dealing with any ad hoc queries they may have and prepare audit schedules.
- Ensure that all statutory reporting requirements are adhered to and are delivered on time.

My client is seeking a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CCAB or CIMA) although exceptionally strong QBE candidates will also be considered. You will be very proactive and will have led and/or assisted on a number of year ends previously (preferably within a charity environment), bringing a high level of technical expertise to the role. You must be able to work independently, with the ability to demonstrate initiative to resolve matters, work to competing deadlines and have excellent communication skills.

Your CV will need to demonstrate clear experience of a similar role previously.
