Management Information Officer

Job description

A children's charity based in West London are looking for a Management Information officer. The successful candidate will join the administrative and governance team working closely with the Company Secretary to develop and implement a management information systems necessary to demonstrate our impact and ensure the effective and efficient performance of the organisation in line with the corporate strategy and business plans.
Key responsibilities
Development and Implementation of organisational information systems

To develop and maintain systems which provide the management information required by the organisation.

To support the SLT in identifying the information required to ensure the effective and efficient performance of the organisation.
To collate and disseminate findings from internal and external reports which relate to the performance of the organisation.

To provide guidance and support to the organisation in setting, monitoring and measurement of service outcomes and performance.

To be the organisation's main point of contact for all data protection and privacy matters.
To provide advice and guidance to the organisation on all aspects of data protection legislation compliance.
To support the Company Secretary with responses to Subject Access Requests.
To maintain formal records of all data processing activities.

Person Specification
Knowledge of setting outcomes and measures to demonstrate these have been achieved ?
Well-developed numeric and literacy skills at a level that would enable the post holder to process complex reports and statistical statements
Able to analyse complex information and collate into clear and concise written reports and/or electronic presentation
Experience of working to support various organisational levels and contributing to the work of the Senior Leadership Team.
Able to demonstrate a concern for accuracy ensuring that data used in reports is both reliable and up to date.
Able to organise own workload and work on own initiative.
Experience of developing and implementing management information systems in a complex and dispersed organisation.
Experience of the production and retrieval of management information using IT.
Experience of enabling and facilitating staff in the use of management information systems.
