Marketing and Communications Officer

Job description

As Marketing and Communications Officer, you will utilise your creative experience within either marketing, communications, PR or digital communications and join a fast-paced, yet small team at a leading national charity. 

In joining a small team, you will learn and develop a braod range of skills, and get the opportunity to be involved in numerous, and varied proects. 

You will join a leading national charity, who support people with disabilities, through offering specialist community-based and residential support for adults with acquired brain injury, complex physical or learning disabilities and for people with autism, including those in education.

 

The focus of your role will be to work with the Head of Communications and Engagement to raise the profile of the charity by delivering high quality marketing and digital communications across specified areas of the charity’s work.

You will produce, and upload or distribute, marketing communications, PR and media materials and activities, including website/e-communications e.g. web copy, social media content, e-bulletins, video clips, brochures, leaflets, newsletters, press releases etc. including undertaking research and writing copy.

Permanent, 35 hours a week,

Salary £27,000
Home-based, however in the future you may be required to meet at the office in Burgess Hill, Sussex 1 day a week. (Everyone is currently working from home full-time).
