Marketing and Communications Officer (Home-based)

Are you a creative, marketing wizard who enjoys utilising a range of marketing disciplines, including digital marketing, to create effective and engaging content? Are you passionate about inspiring young people?

I’m working with EDT, Engineering Development Trust, an educational charity who inspire and connect young people with industry and inspiring STEM futures, through projects, programmes and courses.

EDT are looking to hire a Marketing and Communications Officer to be the central point of contact for centralised marketing enquiries and support teams across the organisation with their marketing needs.

You will be responsible for EDT’s digital campaigns, promotional print, social media accounts and website content. To provide support to Marketing Manager on strategic planning. They are moving towards a digital first marketing strategy and are looking for someone to support the delivery of that strategy. This is the perfect opportunity for a Marketing expert to gain hands on experience

and grow their career.

The charity going through an exciting period of transformation. “Over the last 20 months, we have moved to a hybrid delivery model (face-to-face and virtual), re-organised our charity to better meet the needs of the young people we serve and reached the 100,00 Industrial Cadets milestone”.

Your experience:

- working knowledge and experience in a marketing or related role (E)

-experience of digital marketing including website management, PPC and Google Analytics (E)

- experience of using Canva or similar design tool (D)

- experience of using Content Management Systems to update websites, add new content (E)

-experience and confidence in using and managing social media accounts (E)

Location: You can work from home full-time, OREDT has offices in Scotland (Glasgow) and across England, in the South (Southampton, Welwyn Garden City, Plymouth), Midlands (Birmingham) and North (Manchester).

They offer a hybrid workplace where candidates can work from office and home.

Salary: £29,000

Full-time, permanent role
