Marketing Manager (12 month FTC)

I have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join an ambitious team at a Wildlife Trust. Based in Derbyshire the purpose of the role is to inspire more people to engage with and benefit from nature, to grow the Trust s resources and increase support for their vision.

The Wildlife Trust are a small charity with a big vision. They are not only leading conservationists, but they also run a range of educational programmes so that everyone has an opportunity to experience nature. This role is based in Derbyshire, home to some truly stunning nature reserves.

The ideal candidate will be:

A strong independent leader with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills who is able to harness the commitment and enthusiasm of staff.
Experience working in media, marketing and PR.
Able to produce digital and printed publications.
A talent for thinking and working a in a flexible and creative way.

Responsibilities for the role:

To secure recognition and respect for the Trust s work and increase support for the mission.
Promote the Trust and its work, liaising with staff and volunteers, and other organisations as appropriate.
Act as the main Trust contact for all media enquiries, write press releases, organise interviews and TV opportunities. Maintain good relationships with key media staff and monitor and evaluate media coverage.
Lead on the Trust s brand and ensure it is adhered to.

Salary 28,000- 30,000 per annum.

12 month maternity cover contract.

Location: Derbyshire.

The charity will consider candidates who want to work part-time minimum 3 days a week.
