Media Manager

A brilliant opportunity for a Media Manager, to join an established organisation at a time when communications is changing, and this is an opportunity to shape and be part of that change at an exciting time for Mental Health Policy. Leading a team of 2, you will initiate, plan and evaluate PR campaigns, and plan, develop and manage the media strategy.

I am keen to speak to someone who is proactive and creative, with significant experience of working in a press office and with the media, with experience managing teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead in the delivery of high quality external communications including responding to media enquiries, preparing spokespeople for media interviews, writing press releases, statements, thought leadership and reactive commentary and content for digital communications.  
  • Supervising the Junior Communications Officers and Press Officer to deliver high quality outputs.
  • Lead in the delivery of high quality internal communications including the eNewsletter, blogs, reports on the work of the Strategic Communications Department.  Supervising the Junior Communications Officers to deliver internal communications.

Salary £42,780- £53,589 depending on experience
