Operations Manager

Job description

Harris Hill is looking for an Operations Manager ASAP for 3 months.

This role will be responsible for maintaining the effective delivery of our two site Helpline, health information function and England local services for adults and young people.
This role will ensure Managers feel cared for, access support and feel reassured during prolonged home working (re COVID-19), likely staged return to offices and reshaping of the Directorate.
This role will address operational issues and queries within the areas identified and seek guidance from the Head of Services where necessary.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
Significant charity based operations (services) managerial experience across disparate functions
Empathic and reassuring people management skills that evidence care, consideration and support during prolonged periods of challenge, change and/or disquiet
Budget management skills, able to read and understand budget performance, reforecasting etc.
Strong ICT skills (Microsoft) with proven ability to pick up and effectively use systems (Teams, Sharepoint, One Note etc.)
Experience of implementing, monitoring and reporting on key corporate systems e.g. KPIs. Risk, safeguarding etc.
This role is home based, for a London based charity. The lower end of the scale is for outer London candidates and the higher for inner London. These rates are PAYE but can be paid Ltd/ Umbrella. The role can also be moved to a contract, if you would rather be employed directly.
