Payroll Manager

Job description

Harris Hill are currently working with a great organisation based in Uxbridge to help secure a Payroll Manager for 3 months, paying up to 300 per day. The purpose of the role is to be responsible to the Head of Finance for managing the payroll function.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

To line manage, supervise and appraise Payroll staff effectively and efficiently
Responsible for administering in-house monthly payroll system and ensuring that all staff are paid on time (the last Friday in the month)
Complete Month end and year end HMRC procedures
Process starters and leavers in a timely manner to ensure employees are paid correctly

The key skills and experiences include:

Experience of running a payroll in a corporate or public sector environment
Experience of being responsible for a payroll of around 800+ employees
Up to date knowledge of payroll developments and legislation
Expert knowledge of using Midland Itrent payroll system
