Philanthropy and Events Assistant

Job description

A loved children's charity has a brand-new role as the Philanthropy and Events Assistant to work on fundraising in the BAME communities. This is an exciting time to join as there is a new team focusing on these communities.

Roles and Responsibilities
-To support BAME fundraisers with reaching their targets through building excellent relationships with them.
-Co-ordinate the day to day administration of BAME fundraisers. You will implement this support through the team's stewardship.
-Provide general support to the Philanthropy Manager, BAME & Special Events Manager on BAME activities.
-Give advice on the best system for handling events on a case by case basis to the special events manager.
-Support with the planning and delivery of special events, including at
event support.

Candidate Requirements
-Have experience of working in a marketing, fundraising, PR, or charitable environment.
-Have the ability to communicate appropriately with a variety of people including celebrity supporters, VIP's, volunteers, suppliers and colleagues.
-You will have the competency to work with managing diversity
-Have the experience of working within events.
-You will have evidence of working under pressure and have the ability to multi task.
