Role: Philanthropy Manager

Organisation: Children's charity

Location: Homebased, with travel across Newcastle and the North East

Salary: 24,000 - 33,000

Contract: Part-time, perm - 17.5 hours per week

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity dedicated to providing support to vulnerable children across the UK.

The Individual Major Giving team is responsible for maximising the long term support of all new and existing individual donors capable of giving gifts of 5,000 to 1m+.

We are looking for a highly motivated, personable individual with excellent relationship-building skills. In this role you will manage a portfolio of prospects, develop tailored cultivation plans, and be focused on securing philanthropic gifts. You will be responsible for ensuring the strength of the departments prospect pipeline in this region.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must be able to develop, maintain and leverage relationships with a portfolio of major donors, prospects and senior volunteers (trustees, ambassadors and networkers) through a combination of written and email communication, telephone calls, attendance at events, face to face meetings and field visits.
