Philanthropy Officer

Harris Hill are delighted to be working for a wonderful cancer charity who are looking for an ambitious Philanthropy Officer in the early stages of their career. You will be working closely with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to build up fantastic relationships with donors and high net worth individuals.

The Philanthropy Officer will move donors through personalised stewardship journeys, including leading on the management of any events (including virtual events in the current environment).

As a member of the Income Generation Team, the Philanthropy Officer will contribute towards the delivery of the business's strategic, operational, and departmental plans.

As part of your key responsibilities you will be:

  • Raise funds from across a range of high-level donors and manage our patronage programme 
  • Re-design and management of our dedicated Patronage Programme for relevant donors 
  • Manage a programme of targeted events for our high-level donors and patrons 
  • Development of materials and communications for patrons and other high-level donors 

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience of at least one year's account and/or donor management experience. You will also have at least one year's event management experience. On top of this you will have proven experience of managing donor cultivation and stewardship. It is a brilliant opportunity for a relationship fundraiser to get into their next phase of their career.

This role is home-based permanently. Closes in the morning of Tuesday 19th of January.
