A leading national youth development charity is looking for a Policy and Programme Manager to lead their work on criminal justice.

Based in Central London, you'll have a mixture of policy and programmes-related responsibilities. Reporting into the Head of Operations and Executive Director, you'll lead the development the charity's strategy in the criminal justice sector to ensure that they're a leading and credible voice on criminal justice in the UK.

You'll also build and maintain key relationships with figures in civil society, Parliamentarians and other policymakers to both raise the profile of the charity and act in a policy influencing capacity to bring about positive change in the UK criminal justice sector.

As such, appointable candidates will have a background in both policy and programmes, ideally within a criminal justice, youth development or similar sector. Moreover, you'll have external stakeholder engagement skills, ideally within civil service and/or local authority circles. However, importantly, you will also have a real passion for social justice issues.

This position is full time and an initial 2-year contract, with the potential to be made permanent, paying circa 40,000 p.a.; however, part-time and flexible working arrangements will also be considered.
