PR and Communications Manager

Job description

An amazing and insightful charity, seek an experienced PR and Communications Manager ASAP on a full time, temporary basis. This role will be concentrating on their regional programme within fundraising, so regional experience is highly desired.

The PR & Communications Manager will work closely with the Head of PR & Communications and the wider Services, Education, Marketing and Fundraising teams to manage communications and stakeholder engagement for key areas of work, develop and deliver plans and messaging for projects and activities and ensure reputation is enhanced and protected in order to:
-Make young people with cancer and their families aware of the support we can offer
-Encourage target fundraising audiences to support our work and
-Position the organisation as a prominent expert in the field.

Experience
Setting, managing and delivering activity against objectives & KPIs
Demonstrable experience of working in a PR, marketing or communications role
Demonstrable success in developing and implementing integrated communications plans
A track record of successful internal and external relationship building and delivery of results
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic and flexible environment
Experience of setting up and managing relationships with media partners
Delivering projects on time with high levels of success
Experience of working with and delivering effective communications activity for fundraising activities and partnerships
