Prevention Commissioning Lead

Job description

A charity based in Central London are looking for a Prevention Commissioning Lead. The successful candidate will support and assist the Prevention Director in the implementation of the charity's strategy and plan for the commissioning of prevention and clinical practice programmes. Specifically, to technically lead the commissioning process to ensure the delivery of high-quality impactful programmes, projects, and services to achieve the organisation's commissioning objectives.

  • Maintain up to date knowledge and expertise in innovative and best practice in prevention and clinical practice methods and approaches, acting as a resource for colleagues.

  • To ensure the appropriate systems are embedded for the delivery of prevention and clinical practice through engagement with colleagues and externally, including those with lived experience.

Person specification

  • Experience of designing, managing and / or commissioning programmes / projects and services in health, education, or similar settings.
  • Knowledge and experience of project management
  • Knowledge and experience of performance management and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge and experience of using evidence to inform policy and practice.
  • Experience of building positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
