Harris Hill is currently working with an international charity looking for a Project Accountant who is very detail oriented. We are looking for a candidate with first-class communication skills who has had the experience of presenting uninspiring financial information with flare.

We also need you to use your initiative to understand and solve problems. 

You must be an individual who has extensive project accounting experience desirably within a busy accounting team, ideally within an international charity environment. The ideal candidate will need to have good communication skills because you will provide support throughout the organisation. Your ability and experience to inspire your non-finance colleagues will be paramount. 

Job Purpose 

This project accounting role will assist the Finance Business Partners and the other finance teams to provide effective business support across the entire organisation. You will work with finance business partners to supply the timely production of financial donor reports, provide structured financial technical back-up, and assist in the generation of monthly management reports. 

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

Must be Part- Qualified (or QBE with-in an international charity environment) 

Experience working as a Finance Business Partner 

A great communicator (verbal & written) 

Working with grants (DFID, USAID, etc) 

Experience in donor reporting & project accounting 

Excel - Intermediate to advance level
