A great opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager, words for work role for a national charity based in Vauxhall. This role will work alongside a wide range of stakeholders to deliver the Words for Work programme, which gives young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the communication skills they need to be successful in the workplace. The postholder will report directly to the Programme Manager, as part of a team of three delivering Words for Work.

Key responsibilities

Work with the team to design clear, appealing and high-quality resources to support project delivery
Identify and recruit new project partners, including responding to enquiries, working with businesses to recruit volunteers and providing excellent support and efficient follow-up
Recruit schools and other partners as required for programmes, and support them throughout their Words for Work activity
Support existing project partners, particularly teachers and volunteers, in the delivery of project activities
Deliver high-quality training sessions and workshops
Support evaluation activity including administering surveys and collecting case studies
Contribute to the continuous improvement of evaluation processes and tools in collaboration with relevant staff
Maintain accurate and current records, including on our contacts database
Support Programme Manager with administrative tasks
Support internal and external reporting to a high standard, including drafting reports, presentations, regular and timely project updates
Support the effective management and tracking of project spend
Provide a high standard of internal and external stakeholder management with an emphasis on collaborative working
