Project Officer

Job description

I am currently looking for a Project Officer for an expanding Jewish health charity. This exciting role will see you liaising closely with the NHS, schools and clinics as well as universities to assist the development of a new programme.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager with on-going delivery and evaluation of the charity's schools programme
Volunteer management
Continue to develop and integrate the charities pre-marriage resources and programme
Working with the synagogue to continue developing resources for the pre-marriage programme and disseminate to key contacts and community agencies
Support and promote associated clinics within the Jewish community, young adult organisations and others to organise education sessions, publishing of articles and dissemination of clinic posters and flyers.
Work with our NHS partners to support professional service delivery.
Support the development and delivery of the university programme
Manage and deliver social media activities and other communications that will raise awareness and improve engagement with the programme and other activities.
Write and upload and monitor social media posts Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
Manage participant registration process and communication including phone inquiries, follow-up emails

Skills and knowledge:
Strong project management experience - able to deliver agreed outcomes.
Good interpersonal skills ability to build good relations with a range of contacts and our team.
Articulate very strong oral and written skills to communicate, influence and persuade a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Educated to degree level preferably in genetics or bioscience's
Familiarity with the Jewish community and charity sector
