A charity based in London are looking for a Senior Data Executive. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving data import procedures at the charity to ensure that external data efficiently and seamlessly enters the database and of a high quality and fit for purpose.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day activity of the Data Import Executive
Work collaboratively with the other members of the Insights team to ensure that systems and processes are fit for purpose
Responsible for ongoing data import improvement work and make appropriate edits when requirements change
Work with external data suppliers as and when necessary on projects that involve importing their data on to our CRM system
Prioritise and lead projects depending upon the potential impact on the strategic objectives of the charity.
Run selections on an ad-hoc basis and set-up automated reporting where necessary

Person specification
Advanced working knowledge of Raiser's Edge user and technician functionality and configuration to include code table management, import, exports and global changes
Experience in configuration of bulk importing tools such as Import-o-matic
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the structure of databases and their implementation
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of Faststats or a similar selection and analysis tool, as well as Microsoft Access
Experience in manipulating and validating large datasets with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work on and prioritise multiple projects
Previous involvement in liaising with external suppliers to provide data necessary to meet the requirements of the database and organisation
Experience of running complex queries and selections
