Senior HR Advisor

Job description

A charity based in South West London are looking for a Senior HR Advisor. The post holder will be required to deliver a professional, high quality HR service to all directorates within their designated regions. They will provide professional advice to managers and employees on the full range of HR matters including relevant employment legislation and support the HR Business Partner with the Employee Relations caseload for their designated regions.


Key responsibilities

Provide advice and guidance on Employment Relations issues in order to minimise
risk and financial exposure to the charity.

Work with HR colleagues and the wider HR team to ensure that the services provided meet both the needs of regions supported and the wider charity objectives.

Maintain an excellent employee relations climate by establishing and maintaining trustworthy
relationships with managers, employees and Trade Union representatives.

Act as the HR representative at consultation meetings with staff in relation to redundancies or changes to terms and conditions of employment.

Work in partnership with the Senior HR Advisor Operations & Payroll team in resolving customer queries


Person specification

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal professionally, sensitively and tactfully with complex ER situations

Evidence of well-developed customer service skills and of successfully building and managing client relationships

Knowledge of how HR can impact upon organisational efficiency and the patient experience

Excellent current working knowledge of employment legislation Associate/Chartered member of the CIPD or equivalent HR qualification
