Social Media Manager

Job description

A health charity in London, seek a Social Media Manager or Senior Social Media Officer for 6-8 weeks, covering perm recruitment period.

The Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing the social channels, developing and producing content that drives positive engagement.

You will develop creative and compelling social media content as part of a regular calendar and collaborate with other teams to create social campaigns, which inspire the public.

You will be the eyes and ears of the social media world, identifying opportunities to tell the story of the people they help, whilst managing risks and reputational issues.


Experience:
Considerable knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
Knowledge and experience using paid social media advertising.
Experience with social media monitoring tools including Tweetdeck, Hootsuite.
Excellent copy-writing skills for different social media platforms.
Experience working in a busy digital, content or marketing environment.

Desirable:
Image editing skills with Photoshop and/or Canva
Experience with video editing tools

The above rates are based on a £33-40k salary. We can also pay on a Ltd/ Umbrella basis £161 - £196 per day.
