Social Media Officer

Job description

A national children's charity in London, seek two Social Media Officers ASAP until end March 2020.

The roles will support the Digital Manager and will emphasis of Community Management, Supporter Care and Safeguarding.

Duties:
Act on the frontline of our main social media accounts
by interacting with supporters and the public in real
time on various web and social platforms
Monitor, track and report on feedback and online
reviews
Respond to supporters in a timely manner
Flag any negative comments/inappropriate content to
the Digital Marketing Manager, and formulate strategy
to best resolve the issue
Originate and produce creative content (ie. copy,
images, graphics, video, etc) related to topical news
stories and our appeals and campaigns to spark
conversation and engagement
Working across fundraising, strategic-communications
and campaigns teams, plan, develop, implement and
analyse campaigns of all sizes
Coordinate, build and monitor social media advertising
campaigns
Continuously monitor relevant online conversations
across all the brand's active social media platforms
Coordinate and implement the social media schedule
Ensure consistency of messages across multiple
networks
Track social media influence using reporting tools
Prepare reports for the team / internal stakeholders on
usage and reach statistics on a weekly and monthly
basis, and recommend optimisation or action based
on the results

Experience:
Proven ability to create great promotional campaigns
You must be able to demonstrate the true ROI
available through good social media planning and
execution.
Experience of running B2B and B2C campaigns in
appropriate mediums, including:

 

Rates are based on a work working 35 hours per week on a paye basis. Ltd/ Umbrella companies are welcome and rates will increase to around £19.50ph.
