Stakeholder Communications Manager (Home-based)

Job description

I’m thrilled to be partnering with National Autistic Society, to help find their Stakeholder Communications Manager in a brand new role, as part of a newly formed communications and engagement department. You will support change and development within different areas of the charity, its services and activities by leading the development and delivery of effective and engaging communications strategy and activity.

Working from home full-time, you will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships with all parts of the organisation and developing a knowledge and understanding of their stakeholder groups
  • Working strategically with all directorates to lead communications
  • Responsible for working with our services and schools to provide best practice communications advice and insight and partnering with them to affect its development and delivery
  • Being a trusted adviser to our Adult Services and Children’s Residential & Education directorates on all areas of communications activity
  • Working in partnership with internal stakeholders (particularly in our schools and services) to identify proactive stories to help demonstrate how the charity effectively supports autistic children and adults to reach their full potential

The role will also see you line manage a Communications Officer, who will be new to the team. I’m keen to speak to an inspired and inspiring communications professional who is excited to drive this new area of the team forwards, and work closely with the Head of Communications and Engagement and feel like a Business Partner in the charity.

This is a full-time, permanent role

Location- Home-based. The team are dotted across the UK.

Salary £35,000- £40,000
