Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a well loved national children’s charity in their search for a Strategic Marketing Manager.

The organisation are looking for a skilled Strategic Marketing Manager to join their Marketing and Planning team, which has a key role in driving awareness and understanding of their support for children, parents, and professionals. They work closely with teams across the charity to raise awareness of their vital services, behaviour change campaigns and fundraising which allows the organisation continue to fight for every childhood.

The Strategic Marketing Manager will focus on marketing to children and young people. They will line manage a Marketing Officer to deliver communications for the UK’s leading help and advice service for 11- to 18-year-olds. The schools safeguarding programme for children aged 5- to 11-years-old which by March 2022 was being delivered in 90% of primary schools. They will work with colleagues across the organisation and external partners to expand the reach, contacts and referrals to services. In addition, they will work closely with income generation on key projects and campaigns to ensure collaboration to maximise income.

The post-holder will have significant experience in leading integrated multi-channel campaigns for children and young people, from development through to delivery and managing a small team. They’ll be a great communicator, able to build effective working relationships and influence a range of stakeholders. They will be calm and measured to crisis, coupled with an ability to make quick decisions. This individual will be highly collaborative in nature and engender a collaborative spirit in the immediate team and wider communications team. Alongside a desire to continuously learn and develop with a strong ambition to ‘make a difference’.

Location – London (Hybrid working 1 day minimum in the office) OR Wider UK with Home working

Contract – Permanent  

Salary - £36,243 - £42,639 (plus London weighting allowance of £3,366 or £500 home-working allowance)
