I am delighted to be working with an amazing animal charity to recruit two Supporter Admin Assistants. You will work as part of a busy Donation and Fulfilment team, underpinning the recruitment and retention of Brooke's supporters and donors through the provision of a high-level administration service. This will include fulfilling material requests from our supporters and community fundraisers.

You will need to have excellent attention to detail, ensuring you meet the exacting standards required in the processing and thanking of our supporters' generous donations.
You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, sharing information where appropriate and contributing towards a positive team culture by engaging with and supporting others.

Main duties:
Perform such additional tasks as may reasonably be requested from time to time by the Line Manager.
Managing Post opening, virtually which involves distributing the post to the rest of the organisation, coding donations, recording Gift Aid.
Thanking supporters by letter/email and responding to straightforward queries.
Providing administrative support for the charity's Christmas card & virtual gift campaign this involves responding to supporter queries.
Supporting the Community team with Fulfilment of materials for Community, Tee shirts, running vests etc generally once a week
Switchboard telephone cover.
Will need to work closely with another Admin Assistant to cover tasks.

Skills Admin role 1:

Needs to have charity experience to understand different departments within fundraising, how income is split/why we have codes, why we thank
Needs to have CRM experience
Excel experience so they can later be trained in the reporting side of the work
As this is a busy role, we need someone who is a quick learner, proactive, and enthusiastic about working in a busy varied role.

Supporter Admin Assistant (More of a technical focus, downloads etc) main tasks but not exclusive.
Via Bank ( involves spreadsheet manipulation, advanced formulas, & downloads)
Thanking supporter for their bank transfers and payroll giving donations
Manage the Donation & Fulfilment inbox amends/opt-ins capture
CAF cards report: download the report and submit to CAF
CAF report
Payroll Giving
Switchboard telephone cover
Supporting the Community team with Fulfilment of materials for Community, Tee shirts, running vests etc generally once a week
Housekeeping reports when trained. Database cleansing

Skills Admin role 2:
Charity experience not necessary but must have very advanced Excel skills to be able to process Via Bank
CRM/admin experience to capture opt-ins and write to supporters, thanking etc.
Will need to thank Via Bank donors
Some customer service experience or willing to/happy to communicate with supporters/members of the public
Will need to support the other Admin Assistant with tasks.
As this is a role that involves income reconciliation and admin heavy tasks, we need someone who has a strong attention to detail, doesn't mind repetitive tasks and who is meticulous.
