Supporter Care Manager

Job description

A growing health charity is looking for a Supporter Care Manager. This is an extremely exciting time to join this charity. They have implemented a restructure, enabling us to better manage the strategy for supporting a fast-growing charity with significant plans for fundraising growth over the next few years.

Key responsibilities
Lead the Supporter Care team, ensuring that each staff member is supported to achieve optimum performance and development.
Working with the Head of Supporter Care & Database Services, review and update the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Supporter Care performance.
Create and maintain good working relationships across teams
Manage the process for recording, reporting and responding to complaints.
Proactively identify areas requiring improvement, and create, lead and delegate appropriate projects to achieve this improvement.
Support the team and lead by example, assisting with such tasks as answering the phones if neither Supporter Care Officer is available.

Person specification

Line management experience
Experience of customer/supporter care
Ability to manage projects
Ability to proactively identify and implement improvements to working practices
Experience of Fundraising databases including Raiser's Edge
Able to prioritise and organise own workload and the delegate and manage the workload of others, able to adapt to changing demands in a busy environment.
An up to date knowledge of fundraising and data compliance guidelines and laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation
