Supporter Services Manager

Job description

A Charity based in Central London are looking for a Supporter Services Manager. The Supporter Services Manager role is a diverse, demanding and business critical role maintaining day to day operations of the Supporter Services Team whilst strategically developing the team to ensure the highest level of service is provided to all supporters, existing and potential, who engage with the charity.

Key responsibilities

To work with the Deputy Director of Supporter Engagement and Head of Fundraising Operations to identify areas of opportunity for better procedures and cross-departmental working

To proactively seek out legislative (and associated compliance) changes that impact upon our existing processes. Work with the data team to implement improved processes and analyse their effectiveness.


Develop an informed awareness and working knowledge of the changing nature of the charitable landscape; ensuring that this is imparted to the wider team

Contribute to the evaluation and ongoing development of the Supporter Database

Train the Supporter Services team members to ensure that the maximum number of communications can be resolved first time and encourage the team's personal and professional development.


Person specification

Evidence of continuing development of knowledge and skills relevant to the post

Exceptional customer service experience

Knowledge of a project cycle

Experience of reviewing and evaluating policies and introducing changes to fit the business requirements
