Job description

An international welfare charity in London, seek an experienced Trust Manager for 3 months for 2.5 - 3 days per week.

This role is required due to a busy period. The current manager requires a Trust Manager to assist them with two current partners but also some ad-hoc trust applications.

Experience:
Proven ability to manage a successful trust and foundations portfolio, maximising the value of existing supporters and recruiting new supporters as part of a strategic plan
Demonstrable track record in securing grants from trusts and foundations, maximising income through strategic and/or multi-year partnerships
Ability to prioritise effectively, trouble shoot and problem-solve; equally to spot and exploit opportunities
Experience of managing the complexities of restricted income projects
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with foundations and their gatekeepers at six figure level
Excellent face to face, interpersonal, negotiating and persuasive skills and experience
Extensive experience of proposal and report writing for a trust audience, with the ability to write accurately and persuasively to develop a variety of stand-out donor communications
Excellent numeracy and attention to detail, ability to analyse and prepare budgets, forecast donor income and report on results
Confidence in working with senior level stakeholders both internally and externally in order to secure significant grants across the organisation, using tact and diplomacy
Experience of and ability to use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to extract data to inform management decisions
