Trusts and Foundations Officer

Harris Hill are thrilled to be working with this excellent homelessness charity again finding them a great new Trusts and Foundations Officer. This role is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is currently an assistant or executive who want that next step up in their careers.

Main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Maximise income from Trusts and Foundations to support their charitable activities
  • Build and manage relationships with a varied portfolio of Trusts and Foundations to secure gifts of £5,000 or more
  • Research, correspond, contact and meet with funders as required to build a relationship ahead of submitting funding applications
  • Maintain the relationships with the funders between applications to nurture positive relationships between them and the organisation.


Experience required:

  • Relevant experience of working on or supporting on 5/6 figure Trusts and Foundation applications.
  • Excellent proposal and copy writing skills and the ability to write compelling funding propositions and reports for funders with the ability to match projects to a prospective funder's interests
  • Excellent research skills set
