I am currently looking for an experienced Volunteer Coordinator to support the central volunteering team for a youth health charity. This exciting and varied role is to support the onboarding and support of volunteers across the charity. This role has a particular focus on but is not limited to volunteering activity within the Fundraising Department.

Mani duties:
To be an enthusiastic champion of volunteering across the charity, encouraging teams to work with volunteers to achieve their aims
To coordinate volunteering opportunities across the charity using an opportunities tracker
To coordinate the external recruitment of volunteers via national and regional avenues, including volunteer centres and national brokers - supporting teams to carry this out themselves where capacity allows
To lead on the recruitment and coordination of volunteers to regional and/or smaller events
To support the wider onboarding process for volunteers to all events, for example following up incomplete applications, ordering merchandise for volunteers, or preparing and sending pre and post event communications
Alongside the Volunteering Development Officer, to manage the volunteering inbox and responding to requests and inquiries from internal stakeholders, volunteers and members of the public
To deputise for the Volunteering Development Officer in providing support to office volunteers, as necessary
To work alongside the Volunteering Development Officer to be the main points of contact for day to day volunteering enquiries from the Supporter Care team
Raise Purchase Orders (POs) as required, requesting new suppliers are set up if needed, issuing PO numbers and raising Goods Received Notes once POs are authorised
Ensure physical stock and balances of online services are maintained
Work with the Internal Communications manager to maintain internal communications with all departments regarding volunteering involvement.
