How does the Marketing and Communications Executive contribute to The Insurance Charities?

The Marketing and Communications Executive will be a driving force for the charity. In this exciting and varied role, you will be responsible for managing communications with the Charity’s stakeholders via face to face meetings, social media channels, on-line and direct mail campaigns and at events within the insurance industry. You will create digital content, including newsletters and flyers, and keep our website vital, and up to date.

You will work with the CEO and the Charity’s Marketing Committee to support volunteers across the UK and Ireland in their publicity efforts as well as engage with insurance employers to develop partnerships to encourage applications from past and present employees, where appropriate.

Current or recent experience of working within the insurance and financial services markets would be a definite advantage.

Who are we looking for?

• The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and focused individual who can work independently, but as an integral part of a small team, and has exceptional communication skills at all levels.

• You will be a credible marketing specialist who is business savvy and will come in with innovative ideas to drive the charity forwards.

• You will build long-term relationships, and be adaptable to differing environments and be passionate about growing the charity’s reach.

• The ideal candidate will have an insurance or financial services understanding, however this is not a pre-requisite.

Why work for The Insurance Charities?

A competitive salary, generous pension scheme and the opportunity for flexible working awaits together with the satisfaction of being an instrumental element of a charity which has already improved the lives of many thousands of individuals.
