Campaigns and Administration Support Officer

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a national healthcare campaigning charity to recruit a Campaigns and Admin Support Officer. This administrative position will offer excellent exposure to a busy campaigning team, and give the opportunity to develop campaigning, communications and social media skills.

Key responsibilities will include;
- Writing newsletter and email content, managing the Twitter feed and updating the website.
- Developing the social media plan and delivering content, with a particular focus on Twitter.
- Providing admin support including organising and managing meetings, mailing lists, inbox and processing new member applications and fee invoices

This role would ideally suit someone ready to start in the charity sector and interested in a career in communications or campaigning. You will work with senior managers in a small, friendly and supportive team, and as such will work closely with most senior decision makers and be privy to the latest intelligence and strategic thinking.

You will need to be a self-starter and able to work independently. It's important to enjoy the admin aspect of the role, be able to write effectively and be interested in campaigning.

Please note, this is initially a 12 month contract with a realistic opportunity of being extended beyond that.
