Charity of the year Events Project Manager

Job description

Harris Hill are very excited to be working with a fantastic healthcare charity to find a Project manager to work on their Charity of the Year Partnership. This role sits in the Fundraising team and is an exciting opportunity to lead on a new charity project. 

Duties and responsibilities: 

-Develop project plan and ensure delivery of the partnership targets
-Lead regular meetings and communications with the internal working group, to define responsibilities, actions and deadlines.
-To create and lead on a robust recruitment plan for charity place and ballot place eventers
-To develop and implement a new supporter engagement plan
-Work with the communications team to help coordinate the development of engaging, creative -messaging and materials.
-Develop working relationships with agencies across a variety of partners and suppliers.

Skills and experience needed: 

-A sound knowledge and understanding of sporting event fundraising and engagement strategies
-A good knowledge of Virgin Money and London Marathon events
-Proven ability to project-manage across departments (at senior level) and with external stakeholders.
-Experience of stewarding supporters, providing fundraising and event advice.
Ability to successfully engage and secure the best from external stake holders
-Confident building relationships
