I am pleased to be working with the fantastic organisation COSMIC (Children of St Mary's Intensive Care) on an exciting Communications Manager role. I am looking for a confident and hands-on media relations expert to lead the charity’s Press and PR function and raise the profile of the organisation.

The charity is about to merge and expand with another hospital charity, whilst retaining the COSMIC brand, so this is a real time of growth and development and this role will help plan and implement the communications, merchandise and materials necessary to build our profile, communicate to donors and stakeholders and help tell the next chapter in the charities story.

The ideal candidate:

COSMIC is a small team so working collaboratively and being a team player are essential skills. Our roles are a mixture of being very hands-on in order to get things done and working strategically to ensure that we meets our long-term objectives. The successful candidate will be an experienced and innovative communications manager with the ability to inspire and motivate fundraisers and develop new opportunities and initiatives.  Highly organized, with an eye for detail they will help us raise the profile of the charity.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a small team and make real impact. You will hit the ground running, playing a crucial part in raising awareness of the charity internally and externally and developing the brand of the newly merged charity.

Based in London, working 2.5 days a week (open to flexible working pattern)

Salary £35-40k (pro-rata).
