Communications Officer

Job description

I’m keen to speak to an established Communications Officer eager to make a difference in the charity sector. You will be excited to drive internal and external communications forward, developing the existing framework to grow the charity’s voice and ensure it reaches its maximum potential.

You will be a creative writer, who enjoys writing engaging content, and have a wide range of communications disciplines – including strategy, public relations, brand marketing, digital and social media, and the production of content and materials - and will work well to develop existing relationships with external PR and marketing companies to progress these goals. This isn’t an entry level role, so previous experience in these areas is needed.

The charity helps to combat isolation and loneliness, and you will join a team of brilliant professionals, eager to meet their new communications expert, who will report directly to the Chief Executive. You will have the opportunity to get involved in high-profile events that the charity is involved in too. The team are small but mighty, and you’ll join a collaborative and supportive environment.
