Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a charity that is trying to tackle the issues of climate change and global hunger through developing sustainable farming and food technology. They are looking to find someone to become their brand-new Corporate Engagement Specialist. This role is crucial for their rapid expansion and in continuing their global reach. This person can be based in the UK or Europe.

You will be responsible for
-Setting the strategy for the organisation's corporate engagement work, identifying and pursuing the top priorities for impact.
-Managing and delivering all aspects of their corporate engagement work, and potentially leading a team of specialists in the future.
-Building relationships with established companies (including food manufacturers, co-manufacturers, ingredient companies, and life science companies), influencing them to invest in alternative proteins, produce and stock more and higher-quality alternative protein products, and create new products.

You will need to show that you have strong experience in business, management consulting, corporate affairs and engagement. Ideally you will understand product marketing and have a background within the food industry. You will also ideally have excellent people-skills: the ability to influence, network, and build alliances. The organisation will also want to see examples of you having the ability, confidence and authority to engage with corporate executives, build long-term relationships with them, and to persuade and influence decision-makers. Ideally you will also be able to show a track record of bringing on new business and that you are able to lead a team. You will be able to demonstrate that you have worked on delivering strategy and that you are able to set ambitious goals and motivate teams to exceed these.
