Database Project Manager/Consultant

Job description

I am currently looking for an outstanding Database Project Manager Consultant for an International humanitarian charity. This exciting 6 month FTC is based in Buckinghamshire (accessible from London Underground Metropolitan line and Chiltern mainline services).
Reporting to a Project Management Group the purpose of the role is to drive and manage all remaining aspects of the preparation and implementation of their ThankQ CRM database project resulting in a successful go-live switch from CARE to ThankQ.

Main duties:
To lead in the final preparations for delivery and introduction of the new CRM system into the business, including User Acceptance Testing, Training and rollout to staff.
Clarify what is required of the solution and any business process changes to ensure the solution is fit for purpose and can be delivered in Q1 2019.
Manage and deliver Data Migration, Documentation/User Manuals, Reporting and System Interface Development where required.
Ensure effective initial use of the software by the business.
Engage and work with a range of internal and external stakeholders and resources to deliver the project successfully.
Provide excellent communication to stakeholders throughout the life of the project and ensure that all users and their managers understand timescales and any compromises required to ensure implementation of a fit for purpose solution.
To provide any necessary change, project or business analysis management.
To manage the matrix project team and any seconded resource to ensure optimal buy-in, and foster productive on-going relationships so that the outputs seamlessly transfer into an improved business as usual model.
Bring together ideas and thinking across the entire organisation to identify how changes in people, processes and technology can drive improvement. Work with senior stakeholders to transform this thinking into a coherent plan.
Ensure all relevant project management documentation is in place including business case, project change request process, stakeholder engagement and communication processes and risk management.

Expectation:
Develop and agree a project plan within one month, setting out milestones for delivery of all aspects of the project.
Manage the implementation of ThankQ CRM as the core CRM for the organisation to go-live on an agreed date no later than the end of Q1 2019.
Manage an effective project closure (effective adoption and handover) post go-live
