Development Coordinator

Job description

Harris Hill are working exclusively with a brilliant environmental and sustainability organisation to help them recruit for 2 new Development Coordinators. These roles will sit within the dynamic and busy Development department and work closely with the Development Manager. The main thrust of these roles is supporting the Manager in researching, preparing, and submitting high quality bids and grant requests.

The Development Coordinators will be developing and writing bids for tendered contracts, statutory bodies, charitable and corporate sources, as well as charitable trusts. The roles will also be working on project delivery and development too and there is often some cross over with the Policy and Comms team too. The team are fantastic, and this role is perfect for someone who has a background in institutional fundraising/ trusts and foundations.

To be considered for these roles you will to have:

  • Demonstrable experience of successful income generation from trusts or companies, Lottery, EU and/or statutory funders, including successful relationship management of existing funders.
  • Proven ability to write to a high standard and able to communicate complex issues in a clear, compelling, and concise fashion, both orally and in writing.
  • A good understanding of donor care with a proven ability to develop relationships with grant giving bodies and/or commissioners.

Pay is £27,000 - £36,000
