Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with an educational foundation that strives to improve the lives for young people. The postholder will play an important part in developing programmes to support the organisation's pupils, alumni and local communities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate significant funds for the foundation and subsequently for our other innovative programmes.

To undertake this role, you must feel passionately about the impact a great school experience can have on young people.
While you will report to the Chief Operating Officer, operationally you will report to and work with their external Development Consultant, as well as alongside the senior management, governors and volunteer leaders. You will create and implement an ambitious fundraising strategy to deliver long-term financial sustainability. A provisional three-year fundraising goal has been set at £850,000 (including costs of the fundraising programme), but this is a 'working target' and will be subject to further analysis and discussion before it is finalised.

The candidate they are looking for will have a wide range of experience, whether across individual, foundation or corporate fundraising or partnerships. You should have at least three years experience and be an excellent relationship fundraiser.
